Living life in the moment

I love the unexpected, and today was perfect. Cassie and I headed down to our nearby park to play pass with the football. It wasn’t even our second throw until we we’re asked by a couple of random people if we wanted to join a game they already had going. We tossed our football to the side and jumped in. It wasn’t long until we were all celebrating touchdowns and cheering on total strangers. Cassie made a few big catches and was a force to reckon with on defense. While I shinned as quarterback and receiver. After our game was finished they were all talking about what to do next week. Sure enough this ragtag group of people were from meetup.com. I’ve never really had a lot of success through that site but today with a little happenstance and a friendly group we had a blast slipping and sliding in the mud.
